I wanted to see if I could draw a little phoenix and make it even cuter than the one I drew years ago. I think I might have succeded :D

A little blue-faced phoenix perched on an orchid tree branch. I'm not really happy with how his glow came out, I had a different vision for it but at least I tried. And I think I ruined it with the background color, but it looked boring white.

Anyway, enjoy.

(edit) I keep changing the file trying to get the brightest, truest scan I can so I'm sorry it if keeps showing up on your deviations list.

I wanted to make the edges of things black as if he is burning them but I decided I probably couldn't pull off that effect. But thanks XD

Wow, thats awesome pencil work. Though the gray background gave it more of a wintery effect and love the glow work on the petals! What's this one's name?
